When I was a kid, I had hopes of finding a magical lamp. I would go around our backyard with a small shovel and dig around the area, expecting to stumble upon Aladdin’s lamp, in case he “just dropped it somewhere”.
Ha! Ha! Wishful and animated thinking! As I grew up, I found out that wishes … well, it’s not that they don’t come true at all; some are granted unto us, but definitely not all and unfortunately, not usually those that we so badly want to come true. Basically, it’s up to us to make most of our wishes come true, as long as it’s in line with what GOD blesses us with. With that, it’s also up to us to discover if our wishes are meant to come true.
Hopefully, these wishes, as improbable as they are, will come true:
- I wish the RH Bill won’t be passed into law. If it is indeed a law (or will be passed into law), I wish it will be nullified.
- I wish my family and friends the opportunities to let them achieve what they want to accomplish.
- I wish to start and have a musical-performing career. I’ve always wanted to be a musician, a singer, a musical theater actor, and a musical celebrity. After numerous set-backs, I still wish for it.
