Soar

I have often dreamed of ascending to the skies
When times would favor my thoughts and acts
Or of times when mistakes would never make me crack.

But amidst the foolish aspirations,
Dreams of white snow-caped mountains,
Of overflowing rivers and amber sunsets,
Inaccuracies aided my tumble.

I have often dreamed of ascending to the skies
But everything seems to me as clueless
With all the manifestations of helplessness.

Once again, left all alone
Without visions of green-leveled plains,
Of truth and love,
Hope.

Once, on a starry night sky,
I saw dreams of assured peace
And how everything would finally be at ease.

With all the reflections, I mingle with the highest
Breaking the chains, breaking the glass;
Making it to be on the green grass.
